The default 错题本 is a shrine to every question you have ever gotten wrong. It grows and grows and eventually you stop opening it.
The useful version is organized by the class of mistake, not the individual question. 'Forgot to check the domain' is a class. 'Confused ∫ tan x dx' is a class. Under each class, you paste in one or two representative wrong questions and the fix that made them click.
Review it not by re-reading, but by covering the answer and re-doing the question. Two weeks after adding an entry, if you get it right cold twice in a row, retire the entry.
The point of the 错题本 is to become smaller over time. If it is only growing, it is a diary, not a study tool.
